1、出于安装通风设备或通过管线需要，可以适当在板上留置洞口。为了尽量减小洞孔对预应力金属雕花板结构性能的影响，应将孔洞的长向与板跨方向平行，或用小洞以便尽量减少割断预应力筋。洞孔较多时宜沿板跨方向布置，并尽量布置在板的受剪区内。如果可能，最好将洞孔布置在两块预制板的中间。
2、金属雕花板的切角处理在混合结构中，往往由于构造柱不能在楼层间断开而影响排板设计。这时可以采取在板材端切角的方法来解决这一问题。一般情况下，切角的宽度不宜超过板宽的四分之一。当金属雕花板切角宽度超过板的四分之一时，应采取特殊处理措施，如在板底梁上设小牛腿或其它方式的支撑等。
金属雕花板的切角工艺让板材更加整齐，这样在建设建筑物的时候，不仅能够增加它的安全性，而且还能提高整个建筑的使用效率。
